At Adopt A Boxer Scotland we have a keen interest in dog welfare and behaviour and strive to continually expand our knowledge of the latest developments in canine science and research. One of our primary aims is to education and support owners as we believe this is vital in building and maintaining a happy relationship between dogs and owners.
We are holding a “Kindness Works!” dog behaviour talk with Elaine Henley from the Animal Behaviour Clinic and Take the Lead Dog School on the 10th September 2014. The talk will be fun and informative, explaining how positive reinforcement training works and builds strong relationships between dogs and owners. It is free and open to everyone, we welcome owners of all breeds, vets, groomers, dog walkers or anyone interested in learning more about dog behaviour to attend.
Elaine is an P.G.Dip Clinical Animal Behaviourist with more than 15 years of experience working with companion animals. Elaine works on a one-to-one basis to address issues such as aggression, nervousness, fears, separation issues, barking, excitability, and much more.
